General FAQ

Below are some common FAQs we are asked that may answer your question

⭐️How do I book?

Please go to the home page and click the BOOK button, this will take you to a third party site to book. You will need to create an account to book and have payment card details ready. Please note pre-booking is essential, we are capacity limited and will only take walk-ins if we have space.

⭐ ️The payment page won’t let me move on, what should I do?

Please check you have entered all details correctly. The last box on stripe after CVC code requires the postcode of the address the card is registered to. If it still wont allow please refresh the page and try again.

⭐️I’m having trouble with the booking system loading etc. What shall I do?

If you are booking from your phone please try from an alternative device or computer, sometimes some phones do not load the pages correctly.

No, you may not bring your own food and drink on site. We only permit food and drink purchased on the premises. We are an allergen aware facility, we know what's in our food, we don't know what's in yours. We have a large selection of food and drink. We can cater for most allergies except coeliac disease, please speak to staff or contact us in advance if you have a dietary / allergen requirement. Baby food is exempt from this rule, however this must be baby food only. Sandwiches etc do not count.

No, refunds are not given if you cannot make it or you cancel. Unfortunately our space is limited and it is space we could have potentially sold. Please see your booking terms and conditions.

T&C excerpt:

‘Refunds and postponement - Please check your booking time and date carefully. Bookings made in error for the wrong session or date will not be refunded. Payment must be made in full when booking and regretfully no refunds can be given. Bookings can only be amended or moved to another date with a valid reason and with 48 hours written notice; email: info@barneysplay.co.uk. We can postpone any normal booking if more than 48 hours notice is given prior to the session start time. We regret we cannot give refunds or postpone for no-shows or cancellations with less than 48 hours notice. Bookings moved may incur an admin fee of £5 per move. Management decision is final. Should there be a local or national lockdown or Barney's have to close unexpectedly, your booking will be moved to the next available date when we re-open. Refunds will not be given but the date may be moved to a later time. Postponments with 48 hours notice must be rebooked and used within one month, it is the customers responsibility to contact us via email info@barneysplay.co.uk to rebook. Bookings not rebooked within a month will be lost. ‘

⭐️Must I arrive at the start of the session?

No, whilst it is advised you arrive early into your session so that you can get the maximum enjoyment and time from it, you do not have to arrive at the start. We understand that people have other commitments, nap times and school runs etc. We do however ask that people leave promptly at the end of the session, to allow us time to fully clean and sanitise the centre for the next session.
